Though admittedly controversial, several experts promote the celebrated Underground Hypnosis program and its ilk as handy techniques. In all probability you know already that you can effectively speak to the unconscious mind using these methods, but you perhaps don’t realize that you can ease problems, whether physical, emotional, or mental. And so you see you can use hypnosis for both the humorous tricks broadcast on television or at frat parties and intensive assistance for diverse addictions. You can usually make the trance state so deep. How deeply the subject descends into the trance is influenced by aspects of their emotional status, hypnotist’s ability, and personality. Unconsciously, as you begin a light trance, certain smaller muscles will “untense”. They feel as if they’d like to go to sleep. Some find it ab effort to keep their eyes open. Gradually other muscles untense, especially the shoulders and fingers - and quite often, this doesn’t require much time. Over time, the person being hypnotized slides far enough into their trance that their sensory experience encompasses only whoever has hypnotized them. The concept of hypnotic suggestion is available now, as the subconscious is now open to instruction. Going further you’ll find you can suppress recollection of given situations - or to prevent physical sensation. You can carry the subject even further into trance, slowly introducing them to a hallucinatory level before reaching a level along the likes of that which is entered under general anesthetic. In fact, subjects might be ready for a medical procedure while so deep without no need for anesthesia. We think it’s obvious that you won’t need to take anyone that far, and Underground Hypnosis is easily enough for the more directly useful degrees. In most instances, the lower strata are more than enough.
